Six easy steps for Team Captains

1) Register & Create Your Team

Register your team by creating a Justgiving Page for your Team or completing the enclosed entry form.

As the creator of the team, you automatically become its Captain.

2) Encourage Others to Join Your Team

As team captain, you can play a lead role in building excitement, motivation and letting others know the significant impact they are making by supporting the Partnership Walk & Run.

3) Collect Sponsorships

Get your friends, family and colleagues to support your team by making pledges. You and your team members can collect sponsorships through the creation of your own Justgiving page(s) or with an official numbered sponsorship form, after your team has been formed.

4) Back Team Administration

Track your Team’s progress online via the Team’s Justgiving page on the or via sponsorship forms.

Set a Team fundraising goal and stay connected with all your Team members.

Encourage Team members to reach out to other friends and colleagues to join in this important cause.

Remember to contact your Team with the event day details and remind your team to bring any sponsorship forms and money they have collected to the registration booth on the day.

5)Rally Your Team

Boost Team spirit on the Walk & Run Day with team shirts, hats, banners, signs or even theme songs. Be creative and have fun!

6) Follow-Up

Ensure that Team members collect and submit all donations.

Thank your Team members for participating in the Walk & Run and let them know that their participation has helped make a difference in the lives of poor communities around the world.

Praise your team and celebrate your results!
